What does "Invalid Inventory" mean, and how can I resolve it?

Article last modified on: Tue, 19 Sep 2023

"Invalid Inventory" indicates that the inventory data uploaded to Walmart must be in integer format, such as 1, 2, 100, 520, etc. To correct this issue, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that your Shopify store's inventory data is in integer format.

2. If you need to update the inventory differently on Walmart, you have two options within the app:

   a) Bulk Update: You can update inventory through a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file.

   b) Product Update: Edit each product individually from the "Products" section and update the inventory as needed.

3. After updating the inventory, proceed to upload the product on Walmart CA. Your inventory should now be in the correct format, allowing for a successful upload.
