Orders may fail for various reasons, with the most common ones being related to SKU issues and inventory availability. Here are the primary reasons for failed orders and the solutions:
Case 1: Reason for Failed Order - "Product with SKU: XYZ doesn't exist in your Shopify store"
Solution: To address this case, follow these steps:
- Create the missing SKU in your Shopify store.
- Import the newly created SKU into the app.
- Upload the SKU to your Walmart CA account by selecting the product and using the "Bulk Action" option, then choose "Upload Product."
- After a while, click the "Fetch Order" button to ensure the order is created in Shopify.
Case 2: Reason for Failed Order - "Ordered quantity not available for product with SKU: XYZ"
Solution: To resolve this case, take the following steps:
- Ensure that you have assigned the correct inventory in your Shopify store, matching what you are sending to Walmart CA.
- Sync the inventory for that specific product in the app through the "Bulk Action" menu, selecting "Update Inventory." This will synchronize the inventory on Walmart CA in real-time.
- After some time, click the "Fetch Order" button to ensure the order is created in Shopify.
By addressing these common issues and following the suggested solutions, you can reduce the number of failed orders and streamline your order processing on Walmart CA.
